Louise Low - Visual Artist
I aspire to infuse the positive aspects of life to the society. With an aim to produce artworks that depicts determination, perseverance and optimism, I look into the past to construct the future. A modern society that lends a helping hand to the weak, creating a balanced, harmonious society.
After receiving my diploma from the Kuala Lumpur College of Art in 2005, I have been developing a few series of paintings revolving around femininity through orchids. Over the years, my painting style has evolved to include soft materials and sculpture after receiving my Bachelor Degree in Contemporary Art 2010 in University of Tasmania. Among the art exhibitions that I had participated in were in Malaysia, Australia, Thailand, South Korea, Uzbekistan, Singapore and Sri Lanka and so on. One of my significant artwork is Fatal Attraction, the bra shark that made out of bra cups that exhibited in Galeri Petronas in 2013. This year, my work “Yes” has been shortlisted in Bakat Muda Sezaman Art competition in National Visual Art Gallery.
